Join 121Hope, Northland's response to human trafficking, to learn how to be a conscious consumer while shopping in a fun, market-style fashion. This two-day event will be focused on presenting information and engaging in one to one conversations on the topics of labor trafficking and fair trade, while showcasing many amazing brands, both globally and locally, without supporting the world’s modern-day enslavers. Admission is free and open to the public. This will take place in the foyer of our main building (Worship Center) before and after our weekend worship services on Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 9 & 11 a.m. Questions? Camp ToknowHim Trip

Sunday, April 27, 2025 9:00am to Sunday, May 4, 2025 9:00am

Camp ToknowHim is an interdenominational Christian youth camp and retreat center located near Pisgah in the mountains of northeast Alabama. It has two separate facilities to accommodate groups of 60-300+. The property around the camp abounds with miles of wooded trails, amazing rock formations and the views of the Tennessee River.  The camp was started by a Northland couple in 2000. In 2001, Northland sent a team to work on the camp, and Northland teams have been going there every year since. We are currently working on the construction of a third facility. We make a trip each Spring and Fall, and have an enjoyable time of working and fellowship. We welcome everyone: singles, couples, young and old. There is no requirement to have construction experience, we can put everyone to work on a project. Each trip is usually about a week long, from Sunday to Sunday, but can also come for as many or as few of the days as you would like. There are nice accommodations for everyone and great meals. The cost for the trip is your transportation, driving yourself, or sharing the costs in a carpool. If you can contribute to the cost of meals, that would be appreciated. The drive from Central Florida to the camp in Pisgah, AL is about 9 to 10 hours. There are also flights with Allegiant from Sanford, FL to Chattanooga, TN, which is just over an hour from the camp. The camp website is camptoknowhim.com. If interested, please contact Bud Abt at budabt36@gmail.com or (407) 415-0036.

Uganda Mission Trip

June 13, 2025 12:00 AM
June 13, 2025 12:00 AM
Be part of a mission that goes beyond borders with our Uganda Mission Trip. Known as the “Pearl of Africa,” Uganda is a land of stunning beauty, rich culture, and a vibrant Christian presence (83%), yet there are still five unreached people groups longing to hear the Gospel. Uganda has widespread prayer movements, a strong evangelical presence in the Church of Uganda (Anglican).  Public prayer is common even in government and judicial buildings, and many people attend church.  We’re partnering with Miracle Centre Kawempe Church and Miracle Destiny Schools in Kampala, where Pastor Robert and Rose Nabulere lead a dynamic ministry that blends education, discipleship, and outreach. Since 2012, Northland Church has worked alongside Pastor Robert to train over 500 pastors and leaders across the nation, and the impact continues to grow as churches are planted and communities transformed. On this trip, you’ll connect with the local church through worship gatherings, serve in their schools by offering educational training and coaching, and lead impactful Vacation Bible School sessions for children. You’ll also engage in neighborhood outreach, Bible distribution, evangelism, and other community development projects. Beyond the mission work, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the natural beauty of Uganda, including a visit to the Nile River, soaking in the wonder of God’s creation. This trip is more than just an opportunity to serve—it’s a chance to be part of God’s unfolding story in Uganda, deepening your faith while making a lasting difference. Missional Communities

exist to train, equip, and send believers out in pairs to build intentional, organic relationships with people far from God through shared interests. These communities create spaces where faith can be naturally demonstrated and shared through groups like running clubs, youth sports, book clubs, board game nights, hobbies and other interests.
