We offer Christian counseling services to help guide congregants through the struggles of daily and spiritual life. We combine clinical and Christian principles, offering encouragement, comfort, and support to facilitate spiritual and emotional healing.
COUNSELING REFERRAL: Northland’s counseling referral line is available for regular Northland attendees who are seeking information regarding counseling services. We realize how important it is to care for those who are hurting and want to encourage you to reach out to us. A representative from our Pastoral Counseling department will return your phone call or email within 24 hours. Please leave your phone number, email address, and a brief reason for why you are connecting.

OVIEDO COUNSELING CLINIC: All of Oviedo Counseling Clinic’s counselors are graduate student interns studying mental health counseling at Reformed Theological Seminary in Oviedo. They work with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents starting at age 14.

OPEN DOORS COUNSELING: All of Open Doors Counseling's counselors are state licensed specialists, either in mental health counseling (LMHC, Registered Mental Health counseling Intern), marriage and family counseling (LMFT, Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern), or social work (LCSW, Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern). They work with individuals, couples, families and children starting at age 2.

As a church, we are committed to being a light for Christ as well as a source of spiritual and practical help. We also remain dedicated to “bearing one another’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2) as a local church family. We've recently realigned our benevolence program to cover the larger needs of our congregation.
THREE WAYS WE PRACTICE BENEVOLENCE
IMMEDIATE: We have funds available to cover the immediate needs of food and transportation on a case-by-case basis.
COMMUNITY PARTNERS: There are many local organizations that are a great place to start depending on your needs. You can view a resource list for Seminole and Orange County below.
LARGER BENEVOLENCE NEED: For those that call Northland home (members), we have a Benevolence Fund for larger needs like rent, shelter, bills (medical or household), and car repair.

Ministers on Duty are available Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in person or by calling the front desk at 407-949-4000.
These ministers are available to encourage and pray for those needing someone to connect with, to listen, suggest resources, and offer Biblical support.

Stephen Ministers provide high quality, one-to-one Christ centered care to people experiencing life difficulties. Ministers go through an extensive training, and are equipped to offer care to those who are hurting.
