Ballet Magnificat! Stratagem

Event Description

This is a free event, no tickets required!

We are excited to announce that Ballet Magnificat, America’s Premiere Christian Ballet Company, will be returning to Northland Church again this year with their newest ballet “Stratagem”. The performance is inspired by the highly acclaimed book, “The Screwtape Letters”, by C.S. Lewis, also the author of the well-known story “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe”.

“Stratagem”, a story about battles waged in the spiritual realm, will be hosted by Northland Church on February 25th at 6:00pm.  Through comedic irony, it challenges typical assumptions about everyday life and reveals, ironically from a demon’s perspective, the extent to which spiritual activity affects our lives as humans.  With opposing angelic forces, complex human characters, and a set of quirky, precocious demons, audience members are invited to partake in a playful yet sobering story of temptation and deception.

In order to make the event available to everyone, we have decided to provide free admission this year while providing an opportunity for attendees to support the event through a love offering at the performance. Proceeds from the “Stratagem” event will go directly to benefit Northland Church’s Mercy Road Ministries which include LifeHope, a ministry that provides childcare for single mom’s with young children in the process of overcoming life’s challenges, and Mephibo’s House, a ministry to adults with varying exceptionalities.

Please spread the word! Admission is free so tell everyone you know about this opportunity to see this one-of-a-kind, world class performance.  You can learn more about Ballet Magnificat! on their website www.balletmagnificat.com and you can see portions of the “Stratagem”performance itself at https://youtu.be/hrvWKQ-CVn8 where you can see their dedication to quality and professionalism in their art form.
