Living What We Believe

Dr. Joel Hunter

Worship Christ today as the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. He came to us in the flesh, living a life before us, revealing Himself to us. He sent His Spirit to dwell in our hearts, guiding us in all Truth.

Understanding Our Natural Inclinations

Dr. Joel Hunter

Worship Christ today as the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. He came to us in the flesh, living a life before us, revealing Himself to us. He sent His Spirit to dwell in our hearts, convicting us of sin and leading us to repentance, so that we are living witnesses to His redemption.

Our Natural Hope for Any Immediate Help

Dr. Joel Hunter

Worship Christ today, in whom we have forgiveness from sin. From the cross, He prayed for us, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Today He sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding on our behalf.

Jesus, Creator and Redeemer

Dr. Joel Hunter

Worship Christ today as our Salvation. From the cross, He promised the thief beside him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” His promise is true for us today: He has accomplished Salvation and is preparing a place for us, and when He comes again, He will receive us unto Himself.

Incarnation, Distinct From All Other Religions

Dr. Joel Hunter

Worship Christ today as the author of relationship. In the midst of His pain He reached out from the cross and spoke to His mother, “Woman, behold your Son.” and to John, “Son, behold your mother.” Because we were created to belong to Him, He paid the price to bring us into the family of God as heirs of His salvation. To all who receive him, to those who believe in His name, He gives the right to become children of God.

The Stories within the Story

Pastor Jeff Bell

Worship Jesus today as our suffering Savior. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with grief. In the midst of His distress on the cross, He cried out, “I am thirsty!” At this, a sponge soaked in wine vinegar, offered on a stalk of hyssop, was lifted to His lips. He was poured out like water for our sin, because of His longing to redeem His creation. Because of the victory He won, whoever believes in Him will never thirst.
