I recently moved and have no friends or support system here. Looking for God to open a door for me to find my path and peace. My lord please watch over me and help me in my job search as I feel hopeless without you. Amen

I pray for my Mother who has just been diagnosed with Lung Cancer a great Mother with a heart of gold. She is not only a great Mother she is a God fearing woman who would feed and cloth a total stranger. God bless her give her the strength to know she will be with you when that time comes. Let her go without fear.

I pray for my friend and co-worker Kathy. She is going in for back surgery on June 5. The last time she had back surgery they found colon cancer and she has been in tough shape since. I pray dear Lord that you will wrap your arms around her in comfort because she is scared. Guide the surgeons and other hospital team members to help in this surgical procedure and all of the health care professionals on this case to be guided by your healing hands. In Your Name I Pray, Amen.

Please pray for God's comfort for my friends and myself, as we deal with the sudden death of our friend Marcia. Also, please pray for God to comfort Marcia's family as well as they go through this difficult time.

My wife Jane is and has been enduring some severe health issues, starting from a heart attack in 2000, after which it was found that almost all of her main arteries were completely occluded (blocked). She has undergone an aortal / bifemoral bypass and was inline to have two brain aneurysms repaired via external surgical means when they found something on her left lung that worried them and caused a postponement of that surgery. The mass they found on her lung was scar tissue, Praise God, but they also found that she has severe COPD. Her lungs are so bad they began the procedures necessary to get her on the transplant list. After several months of tests, they determined that her heart was not strong enough to endure the surgery, so she never got on 'the list'. She was also scheduled to have an 'upper thoracic reconstruction' of her subclavian and carotid arteries to alleviate not getting any blood flow to her hands and head. Three of the four main arteries that feed blood to her brain are all completely blocked, and the one good one is 70% occluded. It is the left carotid that is still partially functioning. Again, the condition of her heart precluded this operation...
On Valentimes Day 2010 she had to have an AICD (Automatic Implantable Cardiverter Defibrulator) inserted to calm down her heart which was having Ventricular Tachycardia (irregular very fast heartbeat over 200bpm).
Recently, the last three times I've had to take her to the ER the symptoms have been confusion, lethargy, and this last time severe nausea and not being able to keep food down, have all been due to her electrolyte levels being way out of kilter, to the point of kidneys shutting down.
Again, I am seeing some of the same symptoms ... She just got out of the hospital on May 7th. My prayer is this...
Father, if it be your will, please extend your healing hands and wrap them around Jane, and to squeeze the disease from her body, and to restore her to the level of health she's had in the past, so that we might live long, happy lives, in Christ, bringing Glory to You, Lord, and to guide as many souls to You as humanly possible.
Please pray this simple prayer with us.
Thank you,
Jack & Jane McMakin

God, investigate my life; get all the facts firsthand.

even from a distance, you know what I'm thinking.

I'm never out of your sight.

But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of coveting. For apart from the law, sin was dead. Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died. I found that the very...(continue reading)
