Jesus spent three years training the first believers for the business of loving God and loving others. Take a class and get equipped to be the image of God to people in your life now.
We get together together for all sorts of reasons at Northland. In addition to gathering for worship, sometimes we congregate by affinity or common purpose. Here are some opportunities to pursue God alongside other people like yourself, or to serve a particular people group.
As a distributed church, Northland connects with individuals and organizations outside its four walls—worshiping and serving together everywhere, every day. While most Northlanders gather at our Central Florida sites (Longwood, Mount Dora, and Oviedo), many also gather in house churches, in prisons and online. Our global partnerships provide mutual opportunities to connect outside our own cultures and to partner together in building the Kingdom of God.
The first churches met in all sorts of locations and almost none of them were religious buildings. That's actually the case for the church today in many parts of the world, where people gather in homes and business and fields to worship God. If you'd crave that early church experience, or just want to host a more intimate worship gathering, we have some ways we can help.
All around us are people in need. When Jesus was confronted with people in need, he didn't just tend to their souls. Find ways to take practical care of people and tend to their souls at the same time.
