Are you ready to step up?

After hosting the largest Super Saturday event in the country this February, the men of Northland are ready to take the next step toward biblical manhood. Even if you weren't able to be a part of Super Saturday, you can be a part of the next step—the 10-week Stepping Up video series.

Groups of guys will meet weekly to watch some of the best video content ever produced for men and then unpack what it means in the journey to biblical manhood. Take this step for yourself, and ask another guy to join you ... "iron sharpens iron, and so one man sharpens another" (Prov. 27:17).

Here are the three steps you need to take right now to be a part of this opportunity:

1. Register for the day/time that works best for you. Classes meet Wednesday morning, Saturday morning and Sunday evening.

2. Prior to the first session you need to stop by the Northland bookstore at the Longwood campus to purchase your "Stepping Up Workbook," which will be used in each of the 10 weekly sessions. The cost of the workbook is $20.

3. Show up!

Here's what to expect:

In the Stepping Up™ video series, Dennis Rainey, Matt Chandler, Robert Lewis, Voddie Baucham, Tony Dungy, Mark Driscoll, Crawford Loritts and others unpack biblical manhood and what it means to be a godly, courageous man in today's world. They challenge men to step up, to reach back to younger generations in discipleship, and to point to the future through a personal legacy. Along with action-packed dramatizations, amazing special effects and humorous vignettes, the video sessions include frank discussions about everything from overcoming fears to becoming leaders in life, at home, at church and in the community.

Holy Land Pilgrimage, Information Meeting

Learn more about the opportunity to journey to the Holy Land with Pastors Gus Davies and Kevin Urichko, November 29 to December 12, 2013. See the people, places and Bible events of our Lord’s home come alive before our eyes. We will be inspired as we worship and partake of the Lord’s Supper together in the Garden Tomb, pray in the Garden of Gethsemane, sail across the Sea of Galilee, and visit many other sites. We also will visit Nazareth Baptist Church and School for a special Serve Day. This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our spiritual heritage with your family or friends. Questions? Baccalaureate

Time: 6:45 - 8:45 p.m.

In honor of the graduating class of 2013, Student Ministries will be hosting Baccalaureate for seniors and their families and friends. This is open to any graduating senior wanting to participate. Due by May 2 from each senior: One baby picture and one graduation picture, and any other pictures of graduating seniors you may have from any of our retreats or events. Please send photos to shaylynn.stoner@northlandchurch.net. Seniors, be in 1116-1118 by 6:45 p.m. in your cap and gown, so you to can prepare to walk in together. The service will start at 7:00 p.m..
